October and November are the months when mycologists go to the woods to look for esclata-sangs (chanterelles), an essential ingredient in the autumn kitchen of Mallorca. BiniARRELS sa Fira de Mancor is a fair dedicated to popular culture, crafts, Mallorcan traditions, especially those of Mancor de la Vall, and gastronomy, of which the symbol at this time of year is the esclata sang.
The fair is organized by Arrels Associació and is held from 24 to 26 November, but the activities begin a few days before.
