The second proposal of the 56th Pollença Festival is this recital by the classical Catalan guitarist Carles Trepat. The program consists of works by Enrique Granados, Miquel Llobet and Frédéric Chopin.
Carles Trepat (Lleida, 1960) connects with the purest tradition of Catalan guitarist and is heir to teachers like Francesc Tàrrega (of whom he was a student) and Andrés Segovia, artists of the Spanish concert guitar. Works with original instruments or guitars of current lutiers, claiming the repertoire of classical Spanish composers and especially Catalans.
