Diego Castelli and his baroque violin are the protagonists of the fourth concert of the XI International Festival of Ancient Music of Caimari 2021, which on this occasion is held at the casal Ca ses Blaies in Selva. The program includes works from the 17th and 18th centuries.
Diego Castelli graduated in 2006 with honors at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan in the specialty of violin. Between 2008-2010 he did international advanced courses and is currently doing a postgraduate course at the Conservatory of Ghent in the class of maestro Alessandro Moccia.
He collaborates with numerous ensembles, such as the Verdi symphony orchestra in Milan, the ensemble Arcantico, Ghislieri choir & consort, il Divertimento Ensemble, La Divina Armonía and Atalanta Fugiens, among others, as well as being a member of the Chamber Orchestra of Imola and Camerata of Geneva. He has recorded CDs for Emi Classic, Deutsche Armonia Mundy, Sony.

The XI Festival Internacional de Música Antiga de Caimari 2021is celebrated from September 18 to October 16 with four concerts in the new church of Caimari and one in Ca Ses Blaies, in Selva. All of them are free. Tomeu Seguí Campins is the artistic director and coordinator of the Festival.
