With his album Boy in da Corner, this rapper, songwriter and record producer won the Mercury Prize in 2003. Since then, his career is endorsed by the production of more than a hundred songs collected in twenty albums, the last is Tongue n'Cheek (2010). This turns him into one of the great figures of British rap and grime.
Dizzee Rascal was born in London in 1984 under the name Dylan Kwabena Mills, but his Nigerian and Ghanaian ancestry endow to his music a mix of MCing, UK garage, classic rap, grime and ragga with eclectic and exotic samples.
This summer he has been involved in two major musical events, the Glastonbury (Festival of contemporary performing arts) and FIB (Festival Internacional de Benicàssim), and now he does so in this new edition of Mallorca Rocks.
