This group exhibition brings together works of fourteen artists who offer different perspectives around women, through photography, installation, sculpture, video and drawing.
The selected works are by artists of different generations, from the most consecrated to the young emerging. Eight of them are women- Louise Bourgeois, Susy Gómez, Ana Laura Aláez, Eulàlia Valldosera, Natasha Lebedeva, Marta Pujades, Arantxa Boyero and Natxa Pomar - and six men -Carles Congost, Marcos Juncal, Jesus Palma, David Campaner, Curro Viera y Fèlix Coll .
Ecce Mulier (Behold the woman) offers very diverse views of women, from the portrait of a young woman who shows an angelic aura in The portrait, the work of Carles Congost, to the woman who carries the cultural importance of religion in Cargando estigmas ajenos (Loading foreign stigmas) by Natasha Lebedeva.
