Commented concert by this versatile formation directed by Barry Sargent that now is presented in a string orchestra format. The proposal is a dizzying journey that begins with Telemann's Don Quixote Suite, when it marks the 250th anniversary of his death, and the baroque style of Vivalvi, passing through Schubert's pre-romanticism.
Ensemble Tramuntana will also stop in the romanticism of the late nineteenth century with two Idyla (a celebration of the pastoral life) of Wagner and Janácek, to end in the twentieth century with the music of Aaron Copland.
