The first Sunday of September, the village of Santa Margalida, celebrates the festival of Sa Beata or of Saint Catalina Thomàs, beatified in 1792. The main event is the celebration of the procession of the blessed, where there is a parade of floats in which different moments of the life of the saint are staged. It is accompanied by an entourage that represents of all those who, according to the sanctoral cycle, helped him in their troubles against the devil.

The girl who each year represents Santa Catalina, parades on foot surrounded by children dressed of peasants that carry in their hands ceramic vessels that the evil demons – with costumes in red and black, and cowbells hanging around his neck - they snatch their hands to break them during the passage of the blessed.
