Lloseta City Council is organizing a poetry festival in Catalan which is held over four days at the Palau d'Aiamans, one of the most representative buildings of civil architecture of this town of Mallorca.
The program includes a documentary, the feast of the word, a concert by Catalan pop rock group Manel, who presents his latest album Atletes, baixin de l’escenari, , and a tribute to two poets of the Balearic Islands of which this year marks the centenary of their birth: the Ibizan Villangómez Marià (1913 - 2002) and the Mallorcan Bartomeu Rosselló-Pòrcel (1913-1938).

06.06: Projection of Son elles, a documentary about poetic production of female authorship in Mallorca. Poetry recital by some of the female poets who participate in it 21:00 pm
07.06: Festa de la Paraula. Presented by Pere Joan Martorell, with participation of Nora Albert, Juame Caldentey, Pere Gomila, Lucia Pietrelli, Arnau Pons, Lluís Roda, Sanso Sebastià and Blanca Llum Vidal. 21:00 pm.
08.06: Concert by Manel. 22:00 pm.
09.06: Closing of the Lloseta Poetry Festival. Tribute to Marià Villangómez and Bartomeu Rosselló-Pòrcel involving Manel Marí and Biel Mesquida

During the ceremony will be served a glass of wine from the Col • lecció del lector2010 of Macia Batle with a label by Tomeu Coll inspired by the book Aquest Cor by Pere Joan Martorell.
