The battle recalls the struggle of May 30, 1550, in which the Christians headed by Joan Mas, obtained the victory over the Turkish pirates led by the terrifying Dragut.
For a few hours, in Pollença you can smell the gunpowder and mesclat (high alcoholic beverage), which runs in abundance among the hordes of the two warring. The program lasts eight days holiday with a busy schedule of music, theater, exhibitions and other cultural and sporting activities.
