On the second weekend of November, Pollença celebrates its Crafts Fair, with a program full of activities and with the arts as a point of reference. A fair that combines traditional aspects with totally new and current ones.
Exhibitions, competitions, live music, workshops and conferences, samples of all kinds and proposals for children and young people to enjoy is what we can find in the three days of the fair.
This year, the Fira d’artesania is celebrating its 41st edition and is hosting the Tocar fusta initiative, with which the City Council is reaffirming its commitment, initiated last year, to local products and to companies that, in the creation of their products, take care of nature and respect its cycles.
Emphasis is placed on designers, the carpentry trade and sustainable and artisanal local production, not in vain, in the creation of new furniture collections, wood from the pines of the Sierra de Tramontana that fell due to typhoon Juliette in 2023 has been used.
The fair is held from November 8 to 10, but the program begins on Wednesday the 6th.
