The second event of the 5th Festival of Piano Torre de Canyamel is with this Croatian artist born in Rijeka in 1981. Goran Pilipec belongs to that group of musicians whose performances earn praise from audiences and critics.
He studied piano with Naum Grubert, Oxana Yablonskaya, Natalia Trull and Evgeny Zarafiants at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and the Conservatory P. I. Tchaikovsky in Moscow.
He debuted at Carnegie Hall in New York in 2006 and is currently doing doctoral studies at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance of Paris and the University of Paris-Sorbonne.
He has won several international competitions such as the Franz Liszt - Mario Zanfi Award, Parnassos Competition and the Jose Iturbi.
