The excavation team from the village of the Closos of Can Gaia in Porto Colom, offers this day dedicated to the prehistoric recreation of the naviform era in Mallorca. Throughout the day there will be different activities related to this period (1500-900 BC) directed to the general public.
There will be workshops and demonstrations of pottery, manufacturing of bone objects, metal, flint and palm hewing. Also a historical recreation by a theater group from Felanitx of twelve people directed by Margalida Estelrich.
Based on the archaeological record of the site, will be conducted daily activities of the people who inhabited the town. In addition, there will be hourly visits guided by members of the research team who will explain very interesting data on the excavations.
There will also be the presence of investigaodres and archaeologists from outside Mallorca, as Marcos Terradillos Atapuerca Foundation; Beatriz Comendador, University of Vigo, and Manuel Altamirano, of the University of Granada.
