The young Spanish harpsichordist Irene González Roldán opens the XI Festival Internacional de Música Antiga de Caimari 2021 with a concert at the Església Nova de Caimari. The theme this year of the Festival is Italian Way.
At just 23 years old, Irene González Roldán (Sevilla, 1997) has already garnered important awards. After completing her harpsichord studies at the Amsterdam Conservatory, she has been the winner of the AAOBS-FEMÀS Scholarship in the 2017 and 2020 assignments, this last year in studies for the specialization in early music.
In addition, she has obtained the First Prize of the III International Code Competition 'Ciutad de Milan' 2021 (Concorso Internazionale di Clavicembalo- città di Milano), also receiving the Audience Award, assigned by viewers who followed the contest in streaming.

The XI Festival Internacional de Música Antiga de Caimari 2021is celebrated from September 18 to October 16 with four concerts in the new church of Caimari and one in Ca Ses Blaies, in Selva. All of them are free. Tomeu Seguí Campins is the artistic director and coordinator of the Festival.
