The sea is the main attraction this weekend in Can Picafort. On the one hand we celebrate the IV Fira de l'Esport II Nàutic, with an extensive program of free nautical and aquatic activities for all visitors who want to participate.
On the other, the IV Jornades Gastronòmiques del Calamar, with its center in Plaza Cervantes. On Saturday 27, from 19:30, there will be contests of tapas and show coocking by chef Oscar Martínez.
In the gastronomic exhibition installed in the square will be snacks and tapas tastings with squid as an ingredient. A total of 12 restaurants serve meals in the plaza, but if you prefer to eat with a tablecloth, 6 restaurants serve dishes of squid in their own premises. The music liven up the day with performances by Dj Santi Vega (12:00 h), The Twins (17:00 h), Antartic Dj (20:30) and Sax & DJ (20:30) in Plaza Cervantes.
On Sunday 28, the gastronomic exhibition will be open from 11:00 hours. p.m. and the program of events is as follows:
12:30 pm: Great OneS parade, presentation of the new summer collections of 2017 for children, women and men. Music by DJ Leo Portu
15:00 h: performance of White Soul
18:00 h: La PicaRock Band
18:30 h: Tribute to the students of the Taosport Karate Club
19:00 h: Urban Dance performance.
As for the activities scheduled in la IV Fira de l'Esport Nàutic, the range of possibilities is very wide, showing the public the extensive supply of water sports and water activities that can be practiced in the coastal village of Can Picafort, a paradise for all lovers of the sea.
