It is one of the most prolific singer songwriters of Mallorcan music, with more than thirty-five years on stage and a score of albums released. Jaume Sureda (1959) now presents his new show Me lo dijo Pérez (Perez told me), which recovers and expands his famous album released in 1994 under the same title. A title, moreover, already made famous in the sixties by the group Los tres sudamericanos.
Much of the show will be dedicated to the songs that moved dancing in Mallorca in the sixties and seventies, with revised themes of Bonet de San Pedro (Bajo el cielo de Palma, Rascayú..), (Under the sky of Palma, Rascayú ..), Los Bohemios (Katy), Jean Françoise Michel (Adiós, linda Candy) and Adamo (Mis manos en tu cintura).
Also we will be able to hear themes from Jaume Sureda’s own songbook, to the rhythm of ballad, bossa nova, rumba or rock and roll. On stage he is accompanied by a band formed by Noel Quintana (piano), Albert Candela (electric guitar), Michael Backhausen (bass), Miguel Garcia (acoustic guitar) and Bernat Company (drums). Also participating musicians from known groups of the Mallorcan scene like Pelillos a la Mar, Escuela de Calor, Art Acustic Band, La Banda Magnética or Llorenç Santamaria.
