Written in 1750, La locandiera (La posadera) tells the story of Mirandolina, a sly and sexy young owner of a neighborhood in Italy, courted by every man passing by.
In particular by the ruined Marquis Forlipopoli and the Earl of Albafiorita, a wealthy merchant who has become part of the nobility.
