This play premiered at the first edition of the Sa Pobla Albopàs Theater Festival in 2021, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the death of its author, playwright Alexandre Ballester. Now it is presented at the Festival s'Illo de Santanyí.
Starting with the death of Marta - the last remaining specimen of the Passenger Pigeon - in 1914 at the age of 29 at the Cincinnati Zoo, Ballester builds the story of L`única mort de Marta Cincinnati, which won the prize of Teatro Born de Ciutadella in 1983 and had never been taken to the stage before.
The company Ovnipresents now adapts this drama with traditional features where the protagonist, Marta Coloma Cincinnati (a dove) flees from her pursuer Pelegrí Hawks (a hawk), who tries to kill her.
