Under this title, Rafel Caldentey (Baroque clarinet), Pere Caselles (bassoon) and Marcello Rossi-Corradini (harpsichord) - members of the ensemble A Time Music Antiga - perform a program with works by three contemporary composers of Antonio Vivaldi (1678- 1741).
They are: Gregory Sciroli (1722 - 1781), Sonata for Clarinet and Basso Continuo in B-flat major and If moderato- Largo- Allegro ; Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach (1714 - 1788), with Three sonatas for clarinet, bassoon and keyboard, Sonata for keaboard in G minor, W 65/11 and Allegro- Andante- grazioso Allegretto; and Jean Xavier Lefèvre (1763 - 1829), Sonata no. 1 Méthode de Clarinette and Moderato- Adagio- Allegro Rondo.
Rafel Caldentey (Dülken, 1979) combines his work as a professor of music at the Municial Palma Band with collaborations in cycles of ancient and contemporary music. The Mallorcan Pere Caselles specializes in early music and is currently professor of bassoon at the Conservatory of Music and Dance in Mallorca. For his part, the Italian Marcello Rossi directs his work towards the unprecedented early music, and to that end has founded the Ensemble Concento Vago.
The concert is part of the cycle Musica Antiga organized by the City Council of Palma.
