Loreto Aramendi

The prestigious Basque organist Loreto Aramendi, one of the most internationally active Spanish organists, opens the 13th Vila de Santanyí International Music Festival with this concert at the Sant Andreu parish church.

Loreto Aramendi is the principal organist of the Cavaillé-Coll organ (1863) at the Basilica of Santa Maria del Corazon in San Sebastián. She has given numerous recitals at international festivals throughout Europe, the United States, Japan, Chile, Argentina, and Canada, performing in venues such as Tokyo's City Hall Opera House, the National Auditorium in Madrid, Notre-Dame de Paris, Radio France, and Saint-Sulpice in Paris, Hallgrímskirkja in Reykjavik, St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York, and Westminster Abbey in London.
