The Argentine tenor Marcelo Puente, accompanied on piano by Maria Victòria Cortès, is the fourth proposal of the III MallorcÒpera Festival with this concert at the Palau de Congressos de Palma.
Since his debut at the Royal Opera House in London in the 2016-2017 season, as Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, the recognition of Marcelo Puente as a lyrical-spinto tenor is unstoppable. Other roles played are Cavaradossi in Tosca, Don José in Carmen, Manrico in Il Trovatore or his recent Calaf in Turandot, in Vancouver's Operapera.
Throughout his career he has won several awards, including the Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland International Young Singers Competition in 2003 and, most recently, the prestigious 2019 Konez Award for male singer.
