The Estiu al Castell de Bellver cycle hosts the Musa Duo concert, formed by two acclaimed artists on the international scene: the flutist and composer Lara Wong and the pianist María Márquez. They offer a concert entitled La historia del tango.
Lara Wong (Canada, 1990), who confesses her unconditional love for flamenco music, has been in 2021 the winner of the Mining Filon for Best Instrument at the International Festival of Cante de las Minas held in La Unión (Murcia) . She currently resides in Madrid and performs in the most emblematic flamenco venues and festivals in Spain. She also participates in various projects with which she tours Europe, America and Asia.
María Márquez, for her part, has a master's degree in artistic interpretation from the Frédéric Cgopin University of Versovia with Professor Ramiro Sanjines and Professor Jerzy Romaniuk. Among her distinctions are the Honorable Mention for Spanish Music in the National Contest of Villanueva del Rosario and the second prize in the Festival of Young Performers in Marbella.
She has participated in more than 400 recitals as soloist and with orchestra in concert halls in Europe and America and is the president of the Musical Talents of Europe Foundation.
