This musical project parts from a new concept and approach. It consists of joining young and senior musicians united by excellence and performing chamber music in environments normally not reached, such as factories, associations, schools, hospitals, prisons, etc.
Musethica is the brainchild of Israeli violinist Avri Levitan, which he could implement in 2012 in Zaragoza in collaboration with Marcuello Carmen. The project has already spread to Berlin, Beijing and Jerusalem.
In its brief tour of Mallorca – they will offer five concerts, one of them this one at Sa Taronja - Levitan is accompanied by three young violists: Lara Fernández, Alicia Lawrence and Julia Salas.
The program consists of Fantasia for 4 violas, by Edwin York Bowen (1884-1961); Chacon for 4 violas, Trio sonata and Adagio double concerto for 2 violins, of JS Bach (1685-1750); Concerto for 4 Violins (played by 4 violas), of Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741); Liebeslied, by Friedrich 'Fritz' Kreisler (1875-1962); and Caprice Op. 18 for 2 violas, by Henryk Wieniawski (1835-1880).
