Concert number 3 of the 2023-2024 Season of the Fundació Studium Aureum performed by soloists and choir. A Christmas concert with music that revolves around two chronological axes.
The first is located between the end of the 15th century and the beginning of the 17th century, with pieces collected in the Upsala Songbook, t el Cancionero de la Colombina o compuestas, within the scope of Protestant music, by the renowned German composer and organist Michael Praetorius. contemporary of Heinrich Schütz.
The second axis presents us with pieces from the 20th century by composers such as Javier Bustos or John Britten. At the central point of the concert you can hear the traditional canto de la Sibila.
