The acclaimed French organist Olivier Latry closes the X Vila de Santanyí International Music Festival with this free concert in the church of Sant Andreu. It offers a very eclectic repertoire, with works ranging from the 16th century to our contemporaries.
Consecrated as the main world ambassador of his instrument, Olivier Latry (Boulogne-sur-Mer, 1962) has performed as an organist in the most prestigious halls in the world, has been invited by the main orchestras and conductors as a soloist, has recorded for the great record labels and premiered a huge number of works.
At the age of 23 he was appointed organist, together with three other colleagues, of Notre-Dame de Paris, of which he is now titular; In addition, he has been organist emeritus of the Orchester National de Mont-real since 2012.
