The K Gallery brings to Palma Mallorca for the first time the work of James Francis Gill (Texas, 1934), one of the protagonists of American Pop Art movement alongside Andy Warhol, Frank Stella, Roy Lichtenstein, Jasper Johns and Robert Rauschenberg, among other.
His work is in the collections of the best museums in the United States as the MOMA and the Whitney Museum in New York, The Art Institute of Chicago and the National Portrait Gallery in Washington.
Pink Marilyn brings thirty original works of the artist and a selection of 27 of his last screen prints, making it the largest exhibition of James F. Gill in Europe.
