The City Council of Algaida announces the Premis Castellitx 2021, prizes that were created in 1965 and whose objective is to promote the Catalan language and culture and to promote cultural activities, artistic creation and research.
These awards cover six different areas: Literature, research, forum, visual arts, music and audiovisual. Each with different categories and cash prizes.
The award ceremony of the Premis Castellitx will be held on April 5, 2021. Before that, virtual exhibitions of the works presented in the modalities of photography and painting will be held and on March 26th the selected short films will be screened, with the subsequent election of the Prize of the public.

Scope Literature
XLV Poetry Premi. Collection of poems poems, original and unpublished, free theme. Prize: Prize: Rosa d'Or de la Pau and € 500 for the best work in verse. Completion date for submission of works: February 8, 2021
XLV Pere Mulet Cerdà de Narració Curta Award. A prose composition, original and unpublished free theme. Prize: Rosa d'Or de la Pau and € 500 for the best prose work. Completion date for submission of works: February 8, 2021
XLIII Premi Llorenç “Móra” of Popular Poetry (Glosat). Gloss or set of original and unpublished free-theme glosses. Prize: Rosa d'Or de la Pau and € 500 for the best gloss. Completion date for submission of works: February 8, 2021
IX Premi Juvenil de Narració Curta for young people from 14 to 17 years old. Prize: Rosa d'Or de la Pau and € 500 for the best youth narrative work. Completion date for submission of works: February 8, 2021
Research Scope
XXVI Premi d'Investigació Castellitx. A thematic search work related to the municipality of Algaida in any field. Prize: Rosa d'Or de la Pau and € 500 for the best search job. Completion date for submission of works: February 8, 2020.

XX Premi Joan Balaguer Mulet of Photography. Prize: Rosa d'Or de la Pau and € 500 for the best photography. Completion date for submission of works: February 8, 2021

II Premi de Curtmetratges en català 2021. A free-themed audiovisual creation in its original version in Catalan with a duration of less than 20 minutes. Prize: Rosa d'Or de la Pau and € 500 for the best film production. Completion date for submission of works: February 11, 2021
II Premi de Guión de Curtmetratges en català. Prize: Rosa d'Or de la Pau and € 500 for the best film script. Completion date for submission of works: February 8, 2021
