This is the third edition of the Nit de l'Art in which El corte Ingles and Es Baluard collaborate together in the production of a project located in the two spaces: the store front of El Corte Ingles and Gabinet of Es Baluard. This year, the artist invited to present his project is Marcelo Viquez (Montevideo, 1971).
The action taken at El Corte Ingles will be a surprise, smart and effective act that does not leave anyone indifferent; while the work outlined in the Es Baluard Gabinet will decode some of his main keys.
Marcelo Viquez is an artist out of format who changes his instruments and devices going from drawing to installation, video, musical performance or ready made. In Riesgo necesario (Risk necessary) Viquez synthesizes the fragility of what we consider real and in seconds can disappear without giving us the possibility to foresee events that escape us.
