(Information: Journalism or entertainment?) is the title of the conference offered by this experienced journalist who for many years has served as an international reporter. Rosa Maria Calaf (Barcelona, 1945) has been a correspondent for Spanish Television in places like Moscow, Vienna, Buenos Aires, New York and the Pacific -Asia.
She has received numerous awards and was invested Doctor Honoris Causa by the University of Rovira i Virgili in Tarragona (2008) and the University Miguel Hernández de Elche.
In this conference, Rosa Maria Calaf will explain her experiences as international reporter and will make us reflect on what we know about the newspapers, television and the Internet to avoid being manipulated with messages that pretend to turn us into docile consumers and not responsible citizens.
