After the publication of the París Lisboa in 2019, Salvador Sobral is on tour with his new album Alma Nuestra, the third of his solo career after his debut with Excume me and the first one recorded entirely in Spanish.
Salvador Sobral (Lisbon, 1989) won the first place in the Eurovision festival 2017 representing Portugal with his song Amar Pelos dois (Amar por los dos), which has made him a 'national hero'.
A lover of alternative music and jazz, he did not start to dedicate himself professionally to music until he came to live in Spain. First with an Erasmus scholarship when studying Sports Psychology in Palma de Mallorca; later when he decided to move to Barcelona to begin his studies at Taller de Músics.
His health problems forced him to retire from the stages in September 2017. After a heart-transplant, Salvador Sobral returned to the stages in 2018.
