In 2012 she could be seen in Arta in the Cool Dys Festival and in September 2013 in the Auditori d' Alcudia with bassist Javier Colina with the joint project En la imaginación. Now, Silvia Pérez Cruz presents her first solo album, a work with songs in Catalan, Castilian, Galician and Portuguese.
On 11de Noviembre, the singer is both the author of the music , lyrics and instrumentation, guitars, accordions, violins and polyphony in which, as did Erik Satie, she uses bicycle bells, screaming children, country crickets and ropes that wind-up toys.
Silvia Pérez Cruz (Girona, 1983) one of the most famous voices which has given popular music in Catalonia. A bright, warm, delicate and versatile voice that combines jazz improvisation, the strength and rhythm of flamenco, fado and the proximity of bar songs.
She has worked with Joan Diaz Trio in the album We Sing Bill Evans, and with artists like Joan Monné, Perico Sambeat and Jenny Gonzalez and she has been part of groups like Llama, Coetus, Xalupa and Las Migas (female quartet of new flamenco). With the latter she recorded in 2010 the CD Reinas del Matute.
