Branches, bare and irregular logs, wood blocks, stones .... Fabian Schalekamp (Palma, 1964) is inspired by nature and uses it as a quarry for raw materials for his sculptures. He gets them out of the forest to build another forest with new elements that acquire a magical value.
In Simply Chaos he immerses us in a tangle of branches that hang from the walls to form in the center of the space an evocation of the nest. They are creations that refer to geometric, natural and forced forms, in a seductive game of contrasts.
