This exhibition, curated by Francisco Copado, presents a historical approach to the Son Boter property and the concept of possessió in Mallorca.
The Son Boter estate, acquired by the Miró-Juncosa family in 1959, meant expanding the land of Son Abrines, which was already property of the family, increasing the privacy of Joan Miró and gaining a large space in which to create and store the works of large dimensions that the artist would make.
Son Boter de Miró. A look at the past is shown in the Espai Cúbic of the Building designed by Rafael Moneo of the Fundació Miró Mallorca.
