The Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow is the setting for this work directed by Yuri Grigorovich with music by Gennadi Rozhdestvensky. Spartacus is a ballet in three acts and ten scenes based on the life of this slave who led one of the most important rebellions against the Roman Republic.
It premiered on December 27 at the Kirov Theater in Leningrad, it had the choreography by Nicolai Volkov and music of Jachturian Aram. It will be offered deferred.
