They have been on the stages for thirty-five years with their doo wop, a vocal style that arises from the union of rhythm and blues and gospel and which is known in Spain as du Dua. With some years of absence, as the Spanish band broke up in 1998 after the release of of El efecto de la luna (the effect of the moon), to join up again in 2004. Tennessee is formed by Amancio Jimenez, Roberto Gil and Isidro Arenas.
They have released twenty albums since 1985, the latest freshly baked and ready for the release. Entitled 30 y Tennessee (2016) and commemorates the thirtieth anniversary of that first recording.
