Butterflies emerge from the covers of books in the space of the Oratory of San Felio converted into an ally for the complex discourse by Swiss artist Peter Wüthrich (Bern, 1962) in a unique exhibition.

He presents, within the Nit de l'Art (Art Night), one of his latest projects, developed and built by playing with the composition of books, which take the form of butterflies. They rest on the covers of the most famous volumes of French literature. He unites various stories, in order to finally tell his own.

The transformation of a book into butterfly has been observed in previous installations of Wüthrich. The titles he chooses revolve around themes of love, life and death.

The gallery Kewenig shows several works, including the one entitled Tropique of Book Butterflies, France. He displays a map of France populated by butterflies with names of famous authors such as Alexandre Dumas and Émile Zola.
