This symphonic poem by Richard Strauss, the shortest of the German composer, chronicles the adventures and misadventures of Till Eulenspiegel, a peasant hero of the popular folklore of northern Germany and the Netherlands. Written for a large orchestra, the play opened in November 1895 in Cologne under the baton of Franz Wüllner.
The Municipal Band of Palma now brings us this nice character in a family concert integrated in the program Totimolt 2014-2015.
