A unique socio-political work of Miguel Soler (Seville,1975) which transforms the exhibition hall into a cinema. On display are 13 trailers assembled from images taken from television news programs from all over the world.
No image is innocent, no creator is virgin and no spectator is completely objective. These are the assumptions on which the artist reflects based on the appropriation of images and their manipulation to criticize the dynamics of the media.
With the title based on a true story, he approaches the art critic John Berger, who says that the way we see things is affected by what we know and what we believe, by what we are, what we have been and by the direction we take; also of course by the way they are created.
