For the Italian writer Lucia Pietrelli, Llorenç Garrit‘s strength "lies in the expressiveness of his brushstrokes made of matter and color, resolute, but always changing strokes because they are able to play with the light and the distance that stands between the observer and the canvases".
In this traveling exhibition, the Mallorcan artist (Santanyi, 1981) presents a set of rocky landscapes of different areas of the island. Turris Eburnea (Ivory towers) started its tour showing last January at the Museum Miguel Guirao de Vélez Rubio (Almería). After passing through Can Prohens where it is now presented, it will continue through several spaces of Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza, culminating in April 2015 in the Cultural Centre La Misericordia of Palma.
