Palma, after Porreres, is the second stop of this exhibition of Luis Maraver (Seville, 1957) full of lions, hippos and elephants, he disregards the human figure to focus on the animal presence.

In this exhibition of painting and sculpture, Maraver presents the boat built by Noah as a metaphor for salvation and the pursuit of a better world. With the recreation of the biblical landscape aspires to a space for reflection.

The artist wants to convey a common desire to take a boat, whose fragility will make it shipwreck when it comes in contact with the water. Life is an adventure, a journey into the unknown. But in times of uncertainty like the present, greed and selfishness of human beings makes the journey without destination.

The exhibition serves as a preamble to a book to be published in January in a notebook entitled Viajes en un cuaderno (Travels in a notebook), based on the artist's journey through different countries.
