Albanian violinist Smerald Spahiu acts as conductor and soloist in this concert by the Orquestra Simfònica Illes Balears in Cala Figuera, with which it celebrates the start of the 8th Vila de Santanyí International Music Festival.

The VIII Vila de Santanyí International Music Festival is organized and sponsored by the Santanyí Town Council and the Associació d'Amics de la Música de les Illes Balears Aulos. Programmed are five free concerts from July 16 to October 4, 2020 in different spaces of the municipality, both open and closed. In this eighth edition of the festival, the resident artist is Menéndez Rojas (Palma, 1956), of whom an exhibition of paintings can be seen.
