The Ajuntament de Santanyí announces the new edition of these visual arts prizes that have an economic endowment of 5,000 euros. In addition, the winner may hold an individual exhibition at the Casa de Cultura Ses cases Noves during the year 2021.
Artists interested in participating in the VIII Premi Vila de Santanyí Francisco Bernareggi d'Arts Visuals 2020 may present a maximum of three works, with their corresponding technical sheet. The deadline for the admission of the dossiers is from August 24 to October 2, 2020, which must be presented at the Secretaría del Ayuntamiento de Santanyí, either sent by post or delivered in person with the label PREMI VILA DE SANTANYÍ FRANCISCO BERNAREGGI D'ARTS VISUALS 2020.
The jury is composed of: Inma Prieto (writer, researcher and director of Es Baluard), José Maldonado (plastic artist and professor at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche), Fernando Castro (art critic) and José María Lafuente (collector and university professor).
The jury will also make a selection of the works that will participate in the exhibition that will open on November 21, 2020 on the occasion of the Sant Andreu festivities, an act in which the list of the selected works will be made public as well as the winner or winner of the VIII Vila de Santanyí Francisco Bernareggi d'Arts Visuals Prize.
