A vibrant and poetic tribute to the legendary Naná Vasconcelos, an iconic figure in Brazilian music and master of percussion and berimbau. French pianist Fred Soul and Brazilian percussionist Zé Luis Nascimento pay tribute to this undisputed genius—an aural embodiment of the Amazon—blending contemporary jazz improvisation, Afro-rooted vocals, and intricate, richly textured percussion.
