A set of actions and a group exhibition with the artists who usually collaborate with Palmyra Sculpture Centre: Liesbeth Bijwaard, Beatriz Blanch, Jacqueline Bolmeijer, Caterina Bonnin, Petra Boshart, Catalina Carrasco, Isabel Castro Jung, Isabel Coixet Astrid Colomar, Diane Dickers, Margalida Scales, Fanny Galera, Betty Gold, Tamu Gollmer, Anne of Harlez, Yannick Jakober, Katrin Kirk, Mary Lambourne, Antoinette LeRoy, Isabela Lleó, Mary Oriza, Yke Prins, Maria Sezer, Mariana Vassileva, Babet Wentink, Ien van Wierst and Carmen Zuasti.
They all develop works associated with femininity and water, both considered elements of fertility and sources of life. On March 9, the day of the opening, the artist Catalina Carrasco will conduct a performance titled Shower.
Views of Women is part of the II Festival Miradas de Mujer (Views of Women) organized by the asociation Mujeres en las Artes Visuales (MAV) (Women in the Visual Arts), which aims to get the exposure and spread the work carried out by women in the world of art in Spain deserves. On the island they have joined the initiative, with more than fifty participants, artists, curators and lecturers.
