Xema Borras (trombone) and Diana Miguel de Lauzon (piano) offer a program consisting of: Elegy for a Mippy (L. Bernstein), Concerto (L. Grondahl), Sonata 'Vox Gabrielli (Sileck), Choral, Cadence et Fugato (H. Dutilleux) and Selections of Jazz with Guitar.
In addition to being performers, they both also develop a role as teacher, currently at the Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands, Xema Borras as tenured professor of trombone and Diana Miguel de Lauzon as head of piano.
The concert is part of the cycle Concerts of Teachers at the Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands 2013, organized by the teachers themselves in collaboration with the Conservatory, Alma Concerts and the International Music Festival Deia.
