At just 11 years old, Zeming Wu is already a promising pianist with several international awards to his credit. He arrives at the Deià 2023 International Music Festival with a program made up of works by Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff and Prokofiev.
Zeming Wu (China 2012) has won first prize at the XXIII Santa Cecília International Competition (Porto/Portugal), in 2021; in Piano Star International Competition (USA), in 2020; or in the III Oleggio International Online Competition (Italy) in 2020. He is currently studying at the Escola Artística de Música do Conservatório Nacional de Lisboa.

The XLV Deià International Music Festival is held from June 2 to September 29 with concerts at its various venues: Son Marroig (Deià), Sineu, Sa Bassa Rotja (Porreres) and Palau March (Palma). This year also the Graves Foundation in Deià, Centre Cultural de Jesús en Santa Eulàlia de Ibiza and the Casa del Poble de La Mola in Formentera. The pianist Alfredo Oyágüez Montero is its artistic director.
