Aurora Bauzà and Pere Jou are the creators and directors of A beginning_ expanded version, the story of a beginning after an end. An intuition about an uncertain future, the invitation to a medium of the imagination.
Halfway between musical composition and choreographic writing, they propose a performance piece in which live singing and lights manipulated by the performers themselves are central to the construction of a dramaturgical story about the (re)start of the world.
A beginning_ expanded version transforms the scene into a space of the imagination, typical of a future where humans have found new ways to survive.
Fruit of the artistic collaboration of Bauzà and Jou with the Grec Festival and the Teatre Principal of Palma, the piece will feature the participation of members of the Youth Choir of the Teatre Principal of Palma, who will be added to the original cast of performers formed by Elena Tarrats, Maider Lasa, Isaac Baró, Diana Pop and Pere Jou.
A co-production of the Auditori de Barcelona, the Center Coregraphique National d'Orleans (France) and the Teatre Principal de Palma. Recommended age: from 12 years. Languages: English, Latin, Romanian.
