Group exhibition of three artists in which each in their own language explore the position of women in the post-modern consumer society, in the project will participate Diana Coca, Dolors Sampol and Ana Cabello.
In Consumir Preferentement Diana Coca presents the video Compro, luego existo (I buy, therefore I exist), in collaboration with German composer Frank Merfort.
Held within the frame of the II Festival Miradas de Mujeres de Mallorca (II Festival Views of Women from Mallorca), organized by the association Mujeres en las Artes Visuales (MAV)( Women in the Visual Arts) with activities throughout the month of March. Nearly thirty spaces around the island have joined the initiative, which has more than fifty participants including artists, curators and lecturers.
The festival aims to get the exposure and spread the work carried out by women in the art world in Spain deserves. It is celebrated simultaneously in the rest of the autonomous communities.
