‘El cos més bonic que s'haurà trobat mai en aquest lloc’

0 Votes

Pere Arquillué stars in this seven-voice monologue about a small town, its inhabitants and its secrets written by Josep Maria Miró and directed and set by Xavier Albertí.

The body of a seventeen-year-old young man appears dead, dressed only in a red swimsuit and sneakers in the middle of a forage field. The discovery of this corpse begins this text for a single interpreter, in which through various voices we will delve into this event and into the beautiful rural landscape of a small town where, apparently, nothing ever happens.

In 2020, El cos más bonico que s'haurà trobat mai en aquest lloc received the XLV Born Prize, making Josep Maria Miró the first author to obtain the prestigious award three times. The work is part of the Epiphany Triptych made up of three texts for a single interpreter.

Critics' Award for best text and Critics' Award for best leading actor to Pere Arquillué. Catalan language.
