This project of Carlos Aires (Málaga, 1974) focuses on the migration flows of a fully hyperlinked world. The first part of the tour shows a series of intercepted press photographs, a vinyl shaped profane altar and an artistic world full of references to football, nationalities, folklore or religion.
Also awaiting us are eighthundred photographs of people taken from newspapers, magazines or web collected over years, scanned, and printed and reissued again in black and white.
The trip ends with a parquet made with tablets from the pateras (illegal immigrant boats) stored on a ship graveyard of Cadiz. A floor constructed of broken dreams.
With this proposal, is closed (HIPER) vincles, a series of four exhibitions where the artists were proposed to reflect on the impact that developments in aesthetic concepts and the way we communicate, express, document, study and create in this age of globalization.
