Olga Pericet (1975) is one of the referents of flamenco dance and Spanish dance of her generation. From an absolute technical domain, she displays a harmonious and precious style of enormous plasticity on stage, which in 2015 earned her the Max award for best dancer.
In La espina que quiso ser flor ( The thorn that wanted to be a flower), Pericet offers us an artistic journey with a personal language that goes into the unknown starting from the roots, creating a universe in which fit the feminine and the masculine, humor and drama in equal parts. A meeting of shadows and lights of the human being.
She is accompanied by Jeromo Segura and Miguel Lavi (cante) and Antonia Jiménez and Jose Almarcha (guitar).
